Hunt Removals and Storage was launched in 1996 by Chris and Sandra Hunt, who wanted to open their own furniture removal company, after previously working for other businesses.
It is now run by their daughter, company director Alicia Roberts, who has been involved with Hunt Removals for the past 16 years.
Hunt Removals and Storage, located in Tom Thumb Avenue South Nowra, today employs 20 staff members, ranging from administrators to truck drivers and offsiders who all work together to offer removal and storage services to clients.
The family-owned and operated company goes above and beyond to help make its customers removal as stress-free as possible. "We treat others how we like to be treated," Alicia said.

Moving can be a stressful time in a person's life and Alicia offered the following advice. "Always move with a member of the Australian Furniture Removers Association," she said. "They are a governing body there to protect consumers."
Hunt Removals and Storage is proud to be part of the Shoalhaven community. "The Shoalhaven has a great community where everyone helps each other," Alicia said. "We love being a part of that."
The business is involved with the community via sponsorship of many sporting clubs and teams as well as community organisations and charity events.
"We are here to support our local community in whatever way we can," Alicia said.
