The fun and important event will be held on the weekend of March 30-31 at the Nowra Showground and its focus is moving towards a cancer-free future.
Relay for Life Committee Chair Cathy Lucas said this year's relay would be a super event thanks to the amazing support it gets from the community.
"This year our theme is superheroes and we have a lot of interactive activities including a superhero parade and also the Australian Defence Force will come along to challenge us with a shipbuilding competition," Mrs Lucas said.
"We encourage you to come along and experience all that relay has to offer and even support some of our teams in their fundraising efforts by checking out the team stalls around the track.
"For anyone affected by cancer, we encourage you to register for the event and be part of our survivor and carer morning tea on Saturday morning or our special ceremony of hope and remembrance at dusk on Saturday evening."
Music lovers will be treated to performances from the cast of Wicked from the Albatross Musical Theatre Company.
A variety of local performers covering all genres including acts such as Cherry Marmalade and Jacii Leigh and The Spencer Band will also perform.
The weekend will also be filled with activities for kids including a bungee ride and a jumping castle.
Cancer Council Community Relations Coordinator, Ainslie Tweedie, said she was excited to see the community come together for this unique 24-hour event.
"Relay for Life is a much-celebrated fixture in the Nowra community calendar," Ms Tweedie said.
"We've had amazing support in the past 15-years and this year's relay will be no exception."
Every year in NSW alone, more than 140,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed.

Every donation helps, as little as just five dollars can help give a newly diagnosed cancer patient-important support and information resources to help them through their cancer journey.
Locally, the money raised will support programs that are vital to those affected by cancer in the Shoalhaven region.
Cancer Council NSW provides accommodation for cancer patients and their carers during treatment, as well as transport to cancer patients and their carers in the Shoalhaven area, taking them to treatment and other medical appointments.
The relay is a great chance to celebrate survivorship, remember loved ones lost and work towards a cancer-free future.
The Nowra Relay For Life will run for 24 hours, commencing 10.00am and everyone is welcome at the relay, no matter your age or ability.
