A Nowra man, already on a community corrections order for high-range drink driving, has been jailed for reckless wounding and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Brandon Michael Burt, 27, pleaded guilty to wounding another man with a knife in Nowra in January this year.
In Nowra Local Court Magistrate Gabriel Fleming sentenced Burt to 18 months' jail with a non-parole period of nine months.
He will be eligible for release on October 27.
Burt had been serving a 12-month community corrections order after pleading guilty to high-range drink driving.
Police found Burt on April 5 last year in Graham Street, Nowra asleep underneath a motorbike.
A witness walking on Graham Street just after 7pm saw Burt riding a Suzuki motorcycle along the roadway.
All appeared fine at first, however the witness said just moments later they saw the bike mount the footpath and drive along it for a short period of time before returning to the roadway.
Burt was seen to pull the bike to the incorrect side of the road and stop next to the northbound kerb, however as he brought it to a halt he lost his balance and the bike toppled over, coming to a rest on its side with Burt still underneath it.
He then passed out asleep with the bike still on top of him
Officers arrived a short time later and woke Burt, who was disorientated, telling them he couldn't remember how the bike came to be lying on top of him.
A breath test returned a positive reading and he later registered a reading more than three times the legal limit 0.151. However, as a P-plater, Burt was required to have zero alcohol in his system.
