A Bomaderry woman who killed a man after hitting him with her car on the Old Princes Highway at Berry in May last year has escaped jail time.

Jazmin Jessie Raymond, 21, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving occasioning death - drive manner dangerous, failing to stop and assist after vehicle impact causing death and low-range drink driving.
Court papers said Raymond was driving a white Holden Astra along the Old Princes Highway just north of Berry around 11.10pm on May 25 when she struck the 27-year-old man.
Police said Raymond failed to stop and help the man, instead driving to a nearby house and alerting police.
Witnesses rendered first aid to the man until NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived, however he died at the scene.
Raymond was taken to Shoalhaven District Hospital for mandatory testing and returned a positive breath analysis, with a reading of 0.57.
In Nowra District Court Judge Warwick Hunt stopped short of sending Raymond to jail, instead placing her on a two-year community-based intensive corrections order.
She also has to serve 400 hours community service and has been disqualified from driving for three years.
