Resuming at 3/142, with first innings points already in the bag, Norths skipper Justin Weller went in search of his maiden Shoalhaven Cricket ton.
But Weller could only add 13 more runs to his score, before being dismissed by Aaron Wester for 92.
Norths would eventually declare, behind 52 not out by Shane Bell, for 7/223 - with Peter King taking 4/50 for United.
In their second innings, United reached 205 before being all out, with King (59) and Harley Bell (41) top scoring.
Weller took 3/38, to take his match total to 8/74, as Norths secured a home final next weekend.
