Jennings has been cited by the match review committee for a grade two high tackle which left the Panthers skipper dazed and forced him from the field in the Eels' 20-12 upset victory on Sunday.

The Eels centre was sin-binned for the second half incident, which allowed the Panthers to claw their way back into the game, but was still charged.

He will miss one week even with an early guilty plea and his only hope of playing is if he fights the charge at the judiciary and wins.

Manly forward Addin Fonua-Blake will also leave his side's front row exposed for Saturday's clash with the Sydney Roosters after being rubbed out for one game for two dangerous contact offences.

Fonua-Blake pleaded guilty to both attacking Benji Marshall's legs after a kick and a cannonball tackle on Russell Packer in Manly's loss to the Wests Tigers, the offences combining to produce a one-game ban.

The suspension means Kelepi Tanginoa will likely come into Manly's starting side for Saturday night, while Taniela Paseka is a possibility of returning from injury off the bench.

Fonua-Blake was the second player to be suspended for diving at a kicker's legs in the opening round, after Matt Lodge had earlier pleaded guilty and accepted a two-game ban for doing likewise to Melbourne's Cameron Munster.

Lodge will miss games against North Queensland and St George Illawarra, meaning the Broncos will have to find another middle forward after Payne Haas was suspended for the opening month and Josh McGuire was released over the summer.
