The school invited all its community based supporters to a special morning tea so they could all be thanked for their efforts.
The school’s leaders, at the same event, were also officially announced and presented to the gathering.
Many students, outside the presentation hall, were walking around with sweet pies in their hands.
Pi day was held on the same day and the students thought this was a tasty event.
The students, if they could recite pi, received a pie.
Pi, by the way, was originally defined as the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, it now has various equivalent definitions and appears in many formulas in all areas of mathematics and physics.
It was a way to reward the students for being able to remember and recite pi.
By the way - pi is approximately equal to 3.14159 - whatever that means.
