Chair of the club's play park steering committee, Grahame Sweeney, said the announcement was "tremendous news".
"We have been promoting zone one of the project, raising money at events, for the past five years," he said.
"It will be an enormous tourist attraction for Berry. And Berry doesn't have a real lot to offer for young families, but this will cater for all ages.
"All the elements will be accessible for children of all ages and all abilities."
The first stage of the park includes areas for small children, learning to ride, a youth space, and exercise station, BBQ areas and toilet facilities.
NSW Liberal MP Gareth Ward said he was pleased to make the announcement.
"I'm really proud to make this commitment, not just for families in Berry but for people who visit," he said.
