THE amazing season for Ulladulla United's Tara Rudd as continued after she was named the 2018/19 Margaret Peden Shield Player of the Year, as a presentation dinner held at the SCG Ladies Stand on Tuesday.
During the season, Rudd and her Greater Illawarra Zone side won one of their five matches during the NSW Districts Cricket Association Margaret Peden Shield (under 15) season - with the lone victory coming against Penrith on November 4 at Figtree.
Throughout the five matches, Rudd recorded scores of 78, 91 not out, 25 and 18 not - for an average of 106.
Not to be outdone, the Ulladulla High School student bowled 19.3 overs for nine wickets, at an average of 7.4 - with her best figures of 3/5 coming against Penrith.
Other teams Rudd's Greater Illawarra side played during the competition were Bankstown, Manly-Warringah, ACT and Parramatta.
