Leading the way once again were the senior beach competitors, who claimed six medals.

The pick of the bunch was young gun Sam Zustovich, who won gold in both the under 17 men's beach sprint and flags, before finishing with the bronze in the open men's flags.

Club mate Payton Williams also secured three medals, including one gold in the under 19 women's beach sprint.

Williams also claimed bronze in both the under 19 women's flags and open women's flags - before finishing fifth in the open women's beach sprint.

Not to be outdone was Brock Scrivener, who won gold in the under 19 men's flags and bronze in the under 19 men's beach sprint, while also managing sixth in the open men's flags.

The final medal from the senior beach contingent was secured by Joe Halsey, who finished third in the open men's 2km run.

Kate Lewis just missed out on a medal in the open women's flags, finishing fourth, while Dani Holt reached the semi-final in the under 17 women's swim.

Moving on to the masters component of the event and Mollymook had a number of athletes shine at the competition.

Ed Macartney claimed bronze in the 40-44 men's 2km beach run, while Tony Ireland, Dave Tudor-Jones and Robbie Scott finished third in the 45-49 men's ski relay.

Onto the surf boats and Mollymook brought home another two medals from the masters competition.

The first of the two bronze medals won was in the men's 200 year crew, which consisted of Kevin Whitford, Russell Bartlett, Paul Newman, Craig Matthews and sweep Gus Brook.

Matching their achievement were the Mollymook 200 year women's crew of Leonie Hicks, Sue Whitford, Lesley Gagan, Stacy Wilesmith and sweep Len Bolin.

In addition, Mollymook were represented in the 160 year women's race by Monica Mudge, Cheryl Garin, Simone Scott, Tracy Holt and sweep Gus Brook, as well as the 16 year men's race by Aaron Owers, John Holt, Simon Davies, David Searle and sweep by Marty Drysdale.

Finally, in the juniors division, both Karla Jones and Jacob Jones just missed out on medals, finishing fourth in the under 14 girls flags and under 12 boys board respectively while Jasper Butell performed strongly in both his board and swim events.
