A concerned resident contacted the South Coast Register about the graffiti.
"There's a Catholic school just down the road - a lot of kids walk past it," she said.
"Being an old convent, you don't want that sort of stuff on it. Besides, this is our Nowra."
The resident said she had contacted the council, but the council said they had no record of her call when asked on Monday, March 11.
"The graffiti officer has no knowledge of it … it really is unusual," a council spokesperson said.
The council employs a specialist tradesperson with a vehicle and equipment to remove graffiti from council assets.
To report graffiti call the NSW Graffiti Hotline on 1800 707 125 or council on 4429 3111.
