On their home turf, Collegians Sporting Complex, the Steelers' successful Saturday opened with Daniel Lacey's Tarsha Gale side running away with a 38-16 win - their fifth straight to open the season.
In the win, there were eight different try scorers for the victors; Tiana Graham, Emily Andrews, Keele Brown, Chantel Tigaga, Mikayla Kidd, Teagan Berry, Maddison Weatherall and Rhiannon Tungai - with Tungai (two) and Riley Scott landing kicks.
During the win, Lacey's side featured Group Seven's Keele Brown and Meg Buchanan (both Milton-Ulladulla) and Riley Scott and Alex Wallace (both Stingrays).
Following up this big win was Jono Dallas' Harold Matthews side, who edged the Panthers 28-22, thanks to a hat-trick from Trey Barlow, as well as tries to Edward Pierce and Coleby Smith.
Dallas side was led by Milton-Ulladulla's Jye Hendrie, Stingrays' Barlow, Toby Peters, Coleby Smith and Jarvis Polley and Berry-Shoalhaven Heads' Louie Chilver in the win.
Finally, in the SG Ball clash, neither side could land a conversion, as Ben Linde's Steelers won 12-8, on the back of tries from Tyrell Sloan, Sean Payne and Jayden Sullivan.
Group Seven's Oliver Parrish (Berry-Shoalhaven Heads), Joshua Coric (Albion Park-Oak Flats), Blake Dowel (Warilla-Lake South), Oscar Fitzpatrick (Milton-Ulladulla), Kane Ball (Albion Park-Oak Flats) and Sam Hooper (Warilla-Lake South) all played key roles in the win.
In round six, Lacey's side host Wests Tigers at Collegians Sporting Complex from 12.30pm Saturday, while Linde's side travel to Western Australia to face the West Coast Pirates at Charles Riley Reserve - with the Harold Matthews side having the bye.
