The Shoalhaven Bicycle User Group heads to Lake Illawarra this Sunday, March 17, for a 42km ride around the lake. It will be moderate pace with some traffic and uses off-road cyclepaths.

The ride starts at 9.30am from Boonerah Point Reserve, Mount Warrigal. Coming from the south turn left at Reddall Parade, the last street before Windang Bridge, and travel 2.7km to Boonerah Point Reserve. The ride is a circuit of Lake Illawarra. Lunch will be at the ‘Cup of Love’ café at the end of the ride. Contact: Peter 0419 418 022.
Thursdays' midweek mountain bike rides are 25-40km using sealed and unsealed roads, fire trails, single lane bush tracks and beaches. All rides are only suitable for experienced cyclists on mountain bikes with suspension. Rides vary each week, starting at 8.30am (8am during daylight saving time) from different starting points. Dogs are not permitted on the ride for safety reasons and as they are prohibited in National Parks. For ride details contact: Rod 0428 211 487
