"A commitment is on its way," she said. "We need a bipartisan approach considering the amount of money it's going to cost."
Her comments come after the LNP's $960 million state election pledge to fix the Princes Highway.
Cr Alldrick said she would push for a bypass at Milton-Ulladulla before building one at Moruya.
She also said dangerous intersections further north needed to be upgraded with a great sense of urgency.
"Looking into the JB Road intersection being a flyover isn't a commitment," Cr Alldrick said.
"I do have a lot of sympathy for people in that Jervis Bay area for the flyover, I'll be pushing for the flyover but I can't speak for the Labor Party. They have done a lot of work on this, they have been doing some in-depth work on it, and I believe their commitment will be on safety.
"The areas we need to concentrate on are the areas where safety is a big concern."
