Alexander, who has had many victories at this annual event, won the men’s professional tri (ultimate distance) on Sunday.
Levi Maxwell was not too far behind in second place and Mitchell Cunningham came in third
Hometown favourite, Matt Lewis, came in seventh place and was strong in all three legs of the race.
The competitors took part in a 1.9-kilometre swim, a 90-kilometre bike ride and a 21.1 kilometre run.
Kate Bevilaqua was the first female home, followed by Holly Grive and Laura Dennis.
Sunday’s competition capped off what was a memorable and well-supported festival.
