Norths made an impressive 5/208 and the Basin batsmen to reach this total need to be at their best.
Riley Sims guided Norths to its great total with his 54 runs which included four sixes and four boundaries.
Keiran Morris’ aggressive 32 runs, which included six boundaries, and Lachlan Almond, 24 runs, also helped Norths reach its strong total.
The Basin shared the wicket-taking duties around.
Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens Green v Bomaderry
Both Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens Green and Bomaderry would be confident of success when their match at Lyrebird Sportspark resumes.
The Greens batted first, made 7/179 and Bomaderry has the firepower needed to get the runs needed to win.
Oliver Ellery, 47 runs, Tim Hopkins, 39 runs, Lachlan Davis, 21 runs, and Travis Fuss, 18 runs, were all strong with the bat for the Greens.
The Bomaderry attack bowled well as a unit.
Ulladulla United v Berry Shoalhaven Heads Blacks
An unbeaten half-century from Jay Ramsden has Ulladulla United well placed against Berry Shoalhaven Heads Blacks at Lighthouse Oval.
Jay’s 50 runs helped United post its 7/175 and the Blacks starts its run chase on Saturday.
Lachlan Barr, 18 runs, Brayden Atkins, 15 runs, Sascha Matuschka, 14 runs, and Ryan Gilkes, 13 runs, were all strong with the bat for United.
The Blacks produced a strong effort with the ball and the match continues on Saturday.
Under 12
Ulladulla United and Berry Shoalhaven Heads played a thrilling match on Saturday at Zealand Oval.
United batted first, made 111 runs and Berry went onto record victory with 5/122.
William Kingston, 28 runs, and Ken Owens, 19 runs, made sure United posted its respectable total.
William Webster led the way with the ball for Berry and picked up three wickets, while Bailey Parker got two dismissals.
The home side got the runs after producing a great team effort with the bat.
Tobias Eyland, 20 runs, Bailey Parker, 16 runs, Hamish Martin, 14 runs, Noah Hinkley 12 runs, and Jye Howard-Coney, 11 runs, all played roles in Berry’s success.
Batemans Bay v North Nowra Cambewarra
A composed effort from Batemans Bay pushed them towards victory against North Nowra Cambewarra Hanging Rock.
The Bay only posted 103 runs in its innings but did not panic and managed to contain the opposition to 61 runs.
Tradesman like efforts with the bat from Cooper Frawley, 22 runs, Ricky Holmes, 21 runs, and Jackson Riley, 13 runs, made sure the Bay was able to post a match winning total.
Tom Duncan and Toby Royston took two wickets apiece for Norths.
Cooper Luke was the only Norths’ batter able to get into double figures.
Joshua Franklin and Cooper Frawley led the way with the ball for the home side with two wicket hauls.
Bomaderry v Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemen’s
Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemen’s held onto defeat Bomaderry, in a close match, at the Bomaderry Sports Complex.
Bomaderry made 3/86 and Ex-Servos got the match winning points with 5/88.
