This Saturday, February 16, at West St Oval in Nowra starting at 10am and finishing at 1pm there will junior AFL “come & try” sessions for all boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 17. Bomaderry Tigers and Shoalhaven Giants will have their skilled coaching teams on board to introduce any child interested to the wonderful experience of AFL football. Both clubs will have registration tables at the venue where you can decide who you want to play with in 2019 and can sign up and secure your place in those respective teams. There is no cost or commitment on this day it’s just come down and have some fun! Both clubs will be offering registration opportunities in Auskick, under 9’s, 11’s, 12 girls, 13’s, 15’s and the Tigers with 17’s into the Shoalhaven Junior Competition which is played on Sundays. Auskick is played locally at both clubs with 9’s, 11’s and 13’s playing between Batemans Bay and Bomaderry, whilst the 15’s and 17’s play across and into the Illawarra. Both clubs welcome anyone who would like to come down, have a kick and are happy to help with any information they can give. This is the perfect time to see if your child would like to have an opportunity to get involved with these 2 family friendly clubs.
