A Culburra Beach man facing charges over possessing a replica pistol, ammunition and prohibited drugs has appeared in Nowra Local Court.

Clayton Armstrong, 46, did not enter any pleas to two counts of possessing an unauthorised pistol, three counts of possessing a prohibited weapon without a permit, two counts of possessing ammunition without a licence and three counts of possessing a prohibited drug.
Court papers said Armstrong was arrested by police at Culburra Beach on September 27 last year in possession of a number of items including a single barrel black replica pistol and a quantity of ammunition.
He was also allegedly discovered with two separate quantities of methylamphetamine, or ice, weighing one gram and .5 of a gram, along with two grams of cannabis leaf.
He also faces additional charges of reckless driving, driving while suspended, owner not disclose identity of driver or passenger and a further charge of possessing or using a prohibited weapon without a permit.
He will return to court on March 4.
