In late January, a $1 bet on Mr Mundine was paying $4 on Sportsbet.
By Tuesday, his odds of winning Gilmore had lengthened, with Sportsbet paying $4.75.
Independent Grant Schultz’ odds have also lengthened from $10 to $12.
Standing in the way, the Labor Party’s Fiona Phillips’ odds in Gilmore have remained fixed at $1.28.
On Friday, the National Party announced it will run in Gilmore, however it is yet to be added to Sportsbet’s list.
It is understood Sportbet conducts its own polling and interviews political insiders to attain odds.
