After winning the toss at Ray Aboud Oval, Webber and Lachlan Butfield (39) starred for the visitors, while Angus Rhodes (3/36) and Angus Lowbridge (2/38) were the best of the Norths bowlers.
In reply, Norths will resume on day two at 3/39.
