It’s never too early to introduce your children to the magic of reading ... or singing, dancing, creating and critical thinking. The library has a number of programs to help.
Storytime sessions involve books, songs and crafts for ages two to five. Storytime is held at Nowra Library at 10am every second Tuesday during school terms, 11am at Ulladulla Library every second Thursday during school terms and at Sanctuary Point Library every Thursday during school terms at 10.30am for ages birth to five.
Children from birth to two years old can enjoy wiggling and jiggling to music, rhyme and repetition at Rhymetime. Rhymetime takes place at Nowra Library at 10am every second Thursday during school terms, Ulladulla Library at 10.30am every second Thursday during school terms and Sanctuary Point Library at 10.30am on the first and third Wednesday of each month during school terms.

Toddler Time is 30 minutes of songs, dancing and movement for children from 18 months to three years of age. This takes place at 10am at Nowra Library every second Friday during school terms and at Sanctuary Point Library at 10.30am on the first and third Friday of each month during school terms.
Older children, from six to 12 years, can develop science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics skills and enhance their critical thinking with fun and creative challenges at Steam Club. The club is held at 4pm at Nowra Library on the first Wednesday of the month during school terms (ages eight to 12) and 4pm on the second Thursday of the month during school terms at Sanctuary Point (ages six and over).
Book Worms is for readers aged four to eight, who would like to enjoy a fun, themed activity club. It is run at Nowra Library at 4pm on the third Wednesday of the month during school terms.
Do-It-Yourself Storytelling – drop into the newly refurbished Milton Library for DIY storytelling anytime during library opening hours, which are 9.30am-5pm Monday and Wednesday-Friday.
