We’re hoping the national focus on our seat will deliver some ironclad commitments for investment from all sides of politics. Tired of being the reliable seat that will happily accept the odd scrap tossed its way, we want all parties to put serious coin on the table – for roads, health, employment and education.

While federal politics threatened to overshadow everything, we reported on a bold new plan Shoalhaven City Council has for waste management – one that just might remove the need for a green bin but still enable residents to easily dispose of their garden refuse.
After the NRMA revealed a big backlog in council roads maintenance, residents told us which ones they thought needed urgent attention.
