A 26-year-old man arrested after allegedly swinging a machete in the Stockland Nowra car park on Friday has been charged with numerous offences.

The man was arrested by South Coast Police in the Nowra CBD just after 12.15pm.
Police were initially called to the Stockland complex after reports a man was armed with and swinging a machete in the shopping centre car park.
Police said the man ran from the scene as officers arrived but was arrested a short time later in nearby O’Keeffe Lane behind the Nowra Mall Shopping Centre.
Multiple police officers took part in the arrest.
At the time South Coast Police were conducting a special high visibility police operation, including bicycle police, in the Nowra CBD.
The man was charged with wielding a knife in a public place, affray, armed with intent to commit an indictable offence and carrying a cutting weapon upon arrest.
He has been bailed to appear in Nowra Local Court on February 18.
