Health district reminds people to take precautions after Legionnaires’ disease identified across region

In December alone, three cases of Legionnaires’ disease were identified across the region.

Nine cases of Legionnaires’ disease were reported across the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District last year, and while this isn’t considered an outbreak, people have been reminded to take precautions when gardening and cleaning around stagnant water sources.
