Home of Australia's largest monster truck fleet, Monster Events are offering a jam-packed night of the newest and greatest monster trucks, plus support acts at Nowra Showground on Saturday, January 5.
MC Rusty Bell said the team had just returned from touring in China and throughout Australia.
“Traditionally we always put on a great show in Nowra – it’s one of our favourite places we come to,’ he said.
“The trucks are always improving, we’ve got some new trucks that have never been seen in Nowra before, the more exclusive and popular one we launched in China was Buddy the dog truck – everyone loves Buddy.
“Together with Raptors Rampage, our dinosaur truck, they get up to some fun and the kids absolutely love it.”
Mr Bell described the show as “choreographed mayhem”.
“The show is so action packed, there’s not a second of downtime, children absolutely love it and we leave them screaming for more wherever we go,” he said.
“There are new tricks, new stunts, never seen before in Nowra, and we’re really busting to come back. Not only is it a beautiful showground, there seems to be a really good crowd down there.”
As well as the monster trucks, there will also be a traditional Holden verse Ford showdown, fireworks display and freestyle motorcross, with world X Games medallist Brodie Carmichael.
“Young Hayden McCleary, one of our leading monster truck drivers who recently finished third in freestyle at the Monster Jam, will be there,” Mr Bell said.
“The talent we have coming to Nowra is absolutely world class.”
Mr Bell said while every show continued to get bigger and better, safety was still a key focus.
“We follow world class safety procedures and standards, and it’s a totally safe show for the whole family,” he said.
“Nans and pops, down to the kids, every single one of them, every generation, every demographic, will be fully entertained on a great night out of monster truck action.”
Gates open at 4pm with the ‘pit party’, where people can get up close with their favourite truck and meet the drivers from 4.30-5.30pm. The main show kicks off at 6pm.
Tickets are available online via Monster Events or from Autobarn Nowra.
