The mercury in Nowra has consistently rocketed past 30 degrees for eight days straight, with a top of 39 recorded on December 27.
While the seaside towns in the region have offered a reprieve from the exhausting conditions.
For the same period, Ulladulla temperatures have been more bearable, with a top of 27 degrees experienced on December 28-29.
But the humidity has been causing the most discomfort throughout this sweat-fest.
Moisture content in the air has been wreaking havoc with people’s hair, with more than the odd frizzed look becoming common place around the traps.
Humidity will hit 84 per cent on Wednesday and Thursday, while temperatures in Nowra will soar to 35 degrees on Saturday, before dropping to a more pleasant 23 degrees on Monday – the lowest daytime temperature experienced in more than a fortnight.
Ulladulla is in for some varying weather conditions.
Humidity will reach a tormenting 91 per cent on Thursday, with a top of 25 degrees and thunderstorms expected.
While the mercury is set to reach 29 degrees on Saturday, with a chance of showers.
