Schools will be open every day from December 22 to January 25, 8am to 6pm.
The schools will be open as part of the NSW Government’s Share Our Space Program.
“This program allows members of the community to use their local public school’s outdoor facilities, providing new opportunities for play, sport and outdoor recreation,” Kiama MP Gareth Ward said.
“So I am encouraging members of our community and local families to use these schools and their facilities over the coming Christmas holiday period.
“The Share Our Space Program provides valuable opportunities for local children and families to get out and play.
“I’m delighted the NSW Government is thinking outside the box to provide open play areas for our local community, and putting school assets to good use.”
The NSW Education Minister Rob Stokes said the program had been a great success over the last year and expected an enthusiastic response from the public this time around.
“Sharing our school resources with everyone benefits our whole community, and I encourage people to get down to their local school and use the facilities available,” Mr Stokes said.
