
IT’S been a busy month for North Nowra-Cambewarra product Hyeon Parsons, after excelling in both South Coast and Sydney Country Thunder colours.

Firstly, Parsons and his South Coast team started their NSW Combined High Schools Sports Association Championships in Armidale, with a seven wicket win against Sydney West ( 3/174 to 173), with Parsons contributing 18.
On day two, Parsons’ side lost 7/349 to 135 to Hunter before they rebounded against Sydney South West, winning 214 to 100 – with the Bomaderry High School student top scoring with 56.
South Coast finished their tournament on a high by defeating Western (248 to 165), with Parsons contributing 26 – to help his team finish fourth, behind Sydney East, Sydney North and Hunter.
Then the Shoalhaven product backed up this strong showing with the willow by producing at the recent under 15s State Challenge, held at Benson’s Lane Sporting Complex, Lower Richmond.
While playing for the Country Thunder outfit, Parsons scored seven runs in his side’s 228 to 156 loss to the Sydney Metro Sixers before top scoring for his side with 32, in their 169 to 159 loss to the Sydney Country Sixers
