Here it is, the last On The Beat until Christmas.
If you are a fan and have read this column religiously throughout the year you would have read 35 episodes.
Each episode packed full of good advice and crime prevention tips.
Topics that make you aware of the dos and don’ts when it comes to securing your property.
Target hardening your home, being aware of your surroundings and staying safe on the roads just to name a few.
Next year will be just as exciting, heaps of episodes jam packed with info and hot tips.
Please stay safe over the holiday period and remember that even though you are on holidays, the crooks aren’t.
They will still be keen on looking for an easy opportunity to take your valuables.
Lock your cars, remove your valuables, don’t leave your purse on the shopping trolley, don’t leave the car keys in the ignition and the door unlocked (yes it happens), don’t leave you phone on the charger at parties, do not assault/intimidate your partner, don’t unwrap the Christmas presents and leave the boxes outside for the crooks to see what you got, don’t drink too much and don’t argue when you are asked to leave a licensed premises.
Do have a merry Christmas; do enjoy yourself and time with your family and friends.
Merry Christmas
