The 26-year-old carded rounds of 67 and 66 to finish runner up in the select 18 man field to Kiwi Harry Bateman.
The highlight, however, was making an ace on the par three fourth hole, his fourth ever in tournament play.
Zunic jets out on Sunday for Hua Hin, Thailand, and the challenge of 90 holes at the Lakeview Resort and Golf Club, which gets underway on Boxing Day.
It ends a year where he won the Queensland Open and finished tied for seventh at Victorian Open, as well as time on the Asian and European tours.
Meanwhile, They may not have had the best tournament weeks, but Flinders’ Travis Smyth and Cordeaux Heights’ Tahnia Ravnjak have retained their playing rights on the Asian and LPGA Tour of China respectively.
Smyth struggled to get going in the humidity of Jakarta at the Indonesian Masters, carding rounds of 72 and 75 to miss the cut. He still managed to finish in 50th place on the money list for the year, however, and will get plenty of starts in 2019.
Ravnjak, also missed the cut in her final event of the year, the Women’s China Open in Xiamen, finishing at one over par, two shots short.
