FOLLOWING their success with the Greater Illawarra Zone Harold Moore Shield side, in which they guided the team all the way to the final, Berry-Shoalhaven Heads’ Alec Dobson and Batemans Bay’s Lachlan Malcolm will again get a chance to pull on the representative colours.

The Shoalhaven pair are part of the 13-player squad, to be coached by Batemans Bay’s Andrew Malcolm, which will contest the Kookaburra Cup in January.
Joining his duo in the squad are Illawarra’s Ollie Needham, Callum Milsom, Lyndon Coward, Tom Williams, Tom Giustiniani, Noah King, Jack Yates and Joel Nolan, South Coast’s Cooper Harrison and Isaac Kay and Highlands’ Will Watson.
Malcolm, who is joined on the staff by South Coast’s Bill Harrison (manager) and Neil Key (assistant), and his team will open their campaign with a 40-over match against ACT Southern Districts at Bunton Park on January 7.
This will be followed by two Twenty20s against Newcastle (at Birrallee Park) and North Coastal (Kelly Park) on January 8.
Greater Illawarra Zone will then wrap up their pool games with 40-over matches against Central Northern at Howlong Oval (January 9) and Riverina at Baranduda Oval (January 10).
