After winning the toss and electing to bat, Nowra skipper Jono Clack would of been keen to get his team off to a strong start.
But that wasn’t to be, as the captain fell for just four, after being dismissed by Angus Rutherford.
Clack’s team mates had no such issues though, as Jason Bell (47 not out), Damien Etherington (26), Lewis O’Brien (24) and Ryan Henry (20 not out) all helped their side reach 3/137 from their 20 overs.
Rutherford (1/10), Aaron Wester (1/17) and Nathan Simmons (1/25) were United’s best with the ball.
In reply, apart from Harley Bell (54) and Rocky Lavalle (22), none of United’s batsmen got going – as they finished 15 runs short at 6/122.
Bell was again the star for Nowra, taking 3/27 with Justin Rumble (1/13) and Brad Ison (1/18) also taking one wicket each in the win.
