Adam Jaye Ferguson, also known as Reynolds, 29, faced a number of charges including aggravated break and enter, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, taking and driving a vehicle and demanding property with menace.

Court documents stated in the early hours of April 23, 2016 a man, believed to be Ferguson, allegedly broke into a home at Kameruka Crescent, assaulting one of the disabled residents.

It was stated a screen door was allegedly ripped off its hinges.

Two mobile phones were taken in the alleged attack, in which a second man became involved, who also assaulted the two victims.

The court heard one of the victims was forced to get his wallet and a set of keys to a vehicle and was taken to the East Nowra Mobile service station where he was ordered to withdraw $100 cash from an ATM.

That transaction was captured on CCTV.

The victim was then ordered to take the two men to a nearby house, but as they were nearing the property the car was stopped and the victim allegedly pushed out of the vehicle onto the road and again assaulted.

The pair drove off in the car, which was later found damaged at Browns Road at South Nowra.

Ferguson pleaded not guilty to the charges, with a Nowra District Court jury before Judge Phillip Mahony, finding him not guilty.
