The wind picked up for the rest of the weekend but the weather stayed warm and fine.
During the event, the club had 22 people weigh-in; eight for deep sea and 14 for beach, rock and estuary – including three juniors, weighing a total of 109 fish.
Standouts at the event were Jim Field, with his fantastic groper at 7.82 kg and Bob Bell, who weighed in 16 fish.
Jim Field took out the deep sea section from Jim Paterson and Bob Bell, while Arthur Bowles, Scott Danvers and Terry Fagan were beach, rock and estuary’s top three.
Junior winners were Archie Hamshere, Case Woolmer and Koopa Hamshere.
Fish caught this month included nannygai, groper, garfish, morwong, flathead, wrasse, mullet, flounder, tarwhine, trevally, bream, drummer and tailor.
The club’s next weigh-in will be held on January 20.
