Not even the heavy rain during last week and stormy weather the previous weekends could not stop the local keen cricketers.
A few excellent efforts, during the last round, caught our eye.
Nowra’s Damien Etherington did well with the bat and his 126 runs in third grade against Sussex Inlet must have been a great innings.
Young North Nowra Cambewarra batsman Marley Arthur also must have also been in good touch and he smashed 102 runs in third grade against Bay and Basin.
Meanwhile, Berry Shoalhaven Heads’ Brad Page with 91 runs in third grade against Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemen's Club was so close but yet so far away from a triple figure score.
With the ball, four bowlers recently took five-wicket hauls.
Basin’s Luke Gogerly took 5/29 in second grade against Ulladulla United and United’s Jed Silver return the favour with 5/33.
The Basin’s Brad Miller, the second innings of the match against Sussex, took 5/40 and Berry’s Daniel Watson, also in second grade, took 5/41.
