Nowra Konekt Employment Office, with support from the Shoalhaven Homeless Hub, has organised a special Christmas event for Tuesday, December 18 at the hub at 27 Junction Street Nowra.
They will be firing up a barbecue but want to give people items to make Christmas nice and fun.
The hub has limited funds and relies heavily on community donations to be able to assist people.
They have stockpiles of a lot of basic staple items such as canned goods, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soaps and sanitary items.
However, they do need things such as shampoo, conditioner, new socks and new underwear.
On top of this, that they are looking for donations of food items (not canned goods) for the Christmas/festive season.
They are after fun stuff such as chips/crackers, chocolates and lollies - things that aren't usually on a basic shopping list.
Nowra Konekt is collecting donations from now up until December 12 for things like shampoo, conditioner, new socks all sizes, new underwear all sizes and genders and Christmas/festive food items.
People can drop off items to the Nowra Konekt office at 72 Berry Street Nowra, Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm.
Please share this with or collect from your friends and family - the more help the better.
