The man was treated on scene while six fire crews worked to extinguish the fire.
At about 9pm, when emergency crews arrived at the Hughes Road property, fire was ripping through the large shed filled with farming machinery including a tractor.
The 60m by 30m shed and its contents could not be salvaged.
NSW Rural Fire Service and NSW Fire and Rescue Service crews tackled a small bushfire which had caught alight nearby, and worked to limit the reach of the shed fire.
“Given the condition of the fire, it was a matter of protecting exposures and putting out the small bushfire,” NSW RFS Shoalhaven district manager, Superintendent Mark Williams said.
One fire crew has remained on scene to monitor the fire on Saturday.
“It’s still burning internally,” Mr Williams said at about 11am.
“Police have attended (to investigate), there was nothing suspicious about the fire from our standpoint.”
RFS volunteers from Cambewarra, West Nowra, Kangaroo Valley and Shoalhaven Heads brigades all helped to fight the fire overnight.
