The search party for Culburra Beach local Mark Hendy, 57, has been led to believe he has been en route to Sydney or Melbourne, via the east coast of NSW and south-eastern Victoria.

On Wednesday, a ‘Search for Mark Hendy’ Facebook page administrator posted a map of directions to Sydney and Melbourne.

“We have reason to believe that Mark may be on the move,” the post said.
“Please could you share this page with any friends anywhere along this route as we are not certain in which direction he would go if he was moving. Hitch-hiking and walking, or a combination are possible.”
