A BLAZING 102 from North Nowra-Cambewarra’s Marley Arthur has put his side in a strong position against Bay and Basin, on day one of their match at Ray Aboud Oval.

Marley’s knock, which included 15 boundaries, steered Norths to 232 from their 59.2 overs, while Stuart Dryburg (2/35) and Riley Matthews (2/48) took two scalps each for the visitors.
In reply, Basin are in trouble and will resume on day two at 3/21, thanks to Graham Lowbridge’s 2/5.
At Zealand Oval, 91 from Brad Page and 83 from Sam Fletcher steered Berry-Shoalhaven Heads to 8/316 in their first innings against Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens.
With the cherry, Ex-Servos have been best served by John Guscott (3/69) and Tor Janes (2/32).
At the Thompson Street Sports Complex, Nowra reached 4/186 in their first innings, before play was halted in the 43 over.
Leading the way for Nowra has been Damien Etherington (79 not out) and Adam Watson (32), as Jason Hornitzky has two wickets for the hosts.
The final match of the round is at Hanging Rock between Batemans Bay and Bomaderry.
In their first innings, the hosts made 230 behind knocks from Lachlan Macolm (46), Pat Griffin (34), Jamie Prior (34) and Mathew Klarica (33).
With the cherry, Gary Evans (3/39), Bruce Jeffery (3/51) and Matt Glyde (2/23) did what they could for the Tigers.
In reply, the visitors will resume on day two at 4/42 – with Mitchell Graham (15 not out) at the chase.
