Troy Almond was just 17 months old when he died on March 22, 2016, 24 hours after being discharged from Shoalhaven District Hospital emergency department.
“When our son died the sun went out,” said his father Daniel Almond.
“He was just a glorious little boy.
His mother Kim Macklin described him simply as “a beautiful boy”.
The coronial inquest into Troy’s death started in Nowra on November 19 before moving to the Glebe Coroner’s Court last Thursday and Friday.
Deputy state coroner Teresa O’Sullivan will release her findings into his death next Monday, December 3.
