The Nowra Anglican College student has been pet-sitting for two years and recently donated her hard-earned money to the Shoalhaven Homeless Hub.
Julie Budgen from the Shoalhaven Homeless Hub thanked Madeline for her donation of $309.20.
“This is an amazing achievement for a young lady of her age and her parents, Laura and Lee, and her school should be very proud of her compassion and thoughtfulness for those less fortunate,” Julie said.

Madeline has made around $800 through her pet-sitting services and has used the majority to buy supplies for the RSPCA.
She’s cared for cats, dogs and even the occasional fish in the Bayswood and Vincentia area.
“I do this because I want to make a difference to the people around me and help improve this small part of the world,” Madeline said.
Madeline advertises her pet-sitting services through flyers in her local region and thanked everyone who has helped her help others.
