THE Shoalhaven Junior Rugby capped off their strong season on the field, at their recent presentation, held at Rugby Park on Friday, October 19.

All players were presented with a trophy, with the main awards in the under 12s going to Sebastian Ball (best forward), Thomas Duncan (best back), Jed Montgomery (most improved forward), Isaac Kaunicaramaki (most improved back) and Tapiwa Chiweshe (coaches award).
While the first XI awards went to Angus Ellem (best forward), Bailey Morris (best back), Samuel Chittick (most improved forward), Max Doody (most improved back), Jett Fraser (best and fairest) and Bradley Tatnell (coaches award).
A number of special gifts were given on the night, going to under 12s coach and manager, Chris and Genevieve Coulthart for their hard work and support and first XVs coach Cameron Fraser and manager Kim Bice, for their contributions this season.
A special thank you went to Amenatave Kaunicaramaki for always making himself available to referee the under 12s home games, as well as backing up and refereeing the first XV games when needed – which was appreciated by the Illawarra referees.
Michael Sherry, who acted as assistant referee on the sideline of all the 1st XV games, was also recognised by the club.
The club also handed gifts its three wonderful ladies – Merryn Bice, Leah Rattey and Emma Maddinson – for their support and assistance to the junior chairman and the club as a whole, as they were always their to lend a hand when needed.
