The Shoalhaven Under 12s representative team took on Illawarra on Sunday morning in a bid to make the final in the T20 competition.

The boys won the toss and chose to bowl. Starting well with the ball Ryan Malecki and Campbell Bramley couldn't get the breakthough however they tied down the scoring with Illawarra reaching 38 off 10 overs.
A change of bowlers after drinks and Jackson Riley broke the opening partnership.
Shoalhaven continued to apply pressure with tight fielding and bowling. Illawarra finished the innings at 3/99 with Riley Ingram taking 2/17 in the last couple of overs.
Shoalhaven started strongly with the bat with openers Harry Wood (17) and Ryan Malecki (29) going hard early to see the score reach 61 off 9 overs before both fell quickly.
Will McAteer (18 not out) and Elijah Guyatt (10) contributed to the score as Shoalhaven reached 4 for 108 in the 19th over.
The win saw Shoalhaven take on South Coast in the T20 final in the afternoon.
Shoalhaven won the toss and sent South Coast in to bat. The boys got on the front foot by bowling tight. Ryan Malecki (1 for 10 off 4 overs) and Campbell Bramley (1 for 17 off 4 overs) had the ball swinging both ways.
Tobias Eyland backed up the good start with the ball getting two quick wickets and finishing with 2 for 19 off 4 overs. Flynn Dunn also took a wicket with 1 for 24 off 3 overs.
The boys ended up restricting South Coast to 100 runs off their 20 overs.
Harry Wood (33) and Ryan Malecki (28) got the team off to a great start reaching 0/59 at the halfway mark.
A quick fall of wickets had Shoalhaven at 4/87 in the 17th over needing 18 runs to win.
Jarrad Griffith and Riley Ingram came together to get the team over the line with one ball remaining. The win topped off a great day for Shoalhaven.
