CAMBEWARRA’S Cristine Suffolk has added an incredible seven medals, taking her total well over 400, at the recent Pan Pacific Masters Games at the Gold Coast.

Suffolk started her Pan Pacs campaign with a silver medal in the 45-49 women’s beach mile event, clocking a time of 9:57.
She then backed it up with gold in both the 5km road race (21:33) and 4km cross country (17:54).
The Victory Runners athlete wasn’t done there though, adding gold in the 5km track race (22:08), silver in the 10.5km trail run (50:56) and gold in the 2km steeplechase (10:08).
Suffolk finished off her busy campaign, in which she competed in seven events in five day, by claiming silver in the 1500m final (6:25).
Not to be outdone was Shoalhaven shooter Beth Hamilton.
She claimed silver in both the division four 50T points trap and b grade 50T masters trap and bronze in both the overall division four clay target shooting Olympic trap event and division four 50T Gold Coast Sporting Championship – as well as securing numerous lady awards.
Other Shoalhaven shooters that medalled were Shannon Moroney (bronze in b grade 50T points trap) and Laurie Cook (silver in division six 50T Gold Coast Sporting Championship) – with Tracey Willett claiming a lady award.
Finally, the Shoalies over 40s women’s netball team, featuring Belinda Holt, Kate Daniel, Jenny Healy, Renee Kennedy, Belinda Walker, Cathy Mason, Natalie Rayes, Lis Inthar, Kate Powell and Nicole Parrott took out the spirit award in their division.
