Class athletes from all over the Shoalhaven, Illawarra and South Coast took part in a great regional carnival at Sanctuary Point Oval on Sunday.

The athletes, be it on the track or field, impressed and they all did their clubs proud.
The Bay and Basin Little Athletics Club hosted this great event, traditionally known as the Dragon Derby, and well done to all the volunteers for doing such a great job.
The ground was in perfect condition, which meant the athletes were able to perform to the best of their ability.
Sunday’s event was just one of a series of representative carnivals.
The next gala day will be hosted by the Shoalhaven Little Athletics Club on Sunday November 25 at Ron Brown Oval.
Meanwhile, the 2018 Mid South Coast Zone Championships will be hosted by St Georges Basin next month.
The championships will be held at Sanctuary Point Oval from Saturday December 1 and continues the following day on Sunday December 2.
