The Cancer Council is looking for sponsors to support the Stars of Nowra – Dance for Cancer, a popular gala event that raises funds to assist cancer patients in the Shoalhaven.

The event will see 10 well-known locals dance for cancer in front of an audience of 400 people in May next year.
Money raised from Stars of Nowra will help to fund Cancer Council’s local support programs for cancer patients and carers, including accommodation, transport to treatment, financial assistance, home help, and access to information and support via 13 11 20.
Cancer Council’s Community Relations Coordinator, Stephanie Lake, hopes local businesses will support the event.
“Stars of Nowra has grown significantly since the inaugural event in 2016,” she said.
“It’s an opportunity for local businesses to support an event that will help Shoalhaven residents affected by cancer, demonstrating how we can all contribute to the cause.
“We have several sponsorship packages available, ranging from $500 to $5000, which includes an exclusive platinum sponsorship.”
Stars of Nowra features 10 local personalities joined with professional dance instructors who will have eight weeks to learn a dance routine while fundraising to help people in the Shoalhaven community affected by cancer.
