It took a few weeks for some teams to blow off the cobwebs but now they are really getting into the swing of things.
Last Saturday was a near perfect day to get out, have a bat and or a bowl - it was also a good day to take photos.
Thanks to all the clubs for allowing The South Register’s photographers to stroll onto the fields and take some snaps.
Meanwhile, you can always rely on legendary former Register cricket expert Alan Clark to come up with some interesting statistics.
According to Mr Clark, the partnership of 236 by Jason Hornitzky and David Goodwin for Sussex Inlet against Bay and Basin was a club record for any wicket in any grade.
The previous best was 198 put on by Greg Jamieson and Glen Turvey against Rugby Union in third grade, back in 1990-91.
The previous best for the second wicket in thirds was 176 by Paul Daley and Bruce Carter against Nowra in 1994-95.
It was also the first time that two Sussex Inlet players had hit centuries in the same third grade innings.
Keep sending those stats in Mr Clark.
