A networking event was recently held at Sanctuary Point and was a great success.
The inaugural ‘Networking in the PM’ event was at Straight to the Point Café and people are now looking to the next gathering.
The event was a joint effort from Sanctuary Point Community Pride Incorporated and the Basin Business Forum.
The event was funded by the NSW Department of Industry, Skills and Regional Development as part of Small Business Month.
Over 60 small business owners and representatives came along for the opportunity to network with one another and hear from our guest speakers.
Sally Bacon from Shoalhaven City Council’s Economic Development Office was on hand to talk about the small business support resources offered by the Council.
John Lamont, of NowChem, also spoke at the event about the Regional Development Australia – Far South Coast initiative.
Basin Business Forum meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 8am at Straight to the Point Café, with the next meeting on November 13.
