Batting first at the Berry Sporting Complex, Ex-Servos posted a competitive total of 190, thanks to contributions from Daniel Gleeson (34), Trevor Thomason (33), Sam Bagnall (31) and Matthew Lawrence (26).
With the ball, the Magpies were best served by Lloyd Herron (4/17), Daniel Troy (3/28) and Nathan Thorn (2/11).
In response, the hosts started slowly, as Trevor Thomason (3/15) ripped through their line-up, leaving them at 3/35.
A hard-hitting 49 from Nathan Thomas and gritty innings’ by Daniel Troy (28) and Lloyd Herron (22) then brought the hosts back into the match.
But after all were dismissed by Matt Tyler it signalled the end for Berry (153), with the spinner claiming another three scalps, to finish with figures of 6/46.
