This year’s theme ‘ReIMAGINE’, encourages sculptors and artists to use materials that are 80 per cent sourced from materials presented for disposal, reuse or recycling at council-owned waste facilities.
The ReIMAGINE Sculpture Project 2019 will be held as part of the Shoalhaven Environmental Expo on World Environment Day, June 5, 2019. This expo will again showcase local initiatives, community partnerships and council programs to embrace and encourage sustainable environmental practices.
Application is free and will close at 5pm on Friday, November 30.
The ReIMAGINE Sculpture Project 2019 which will be held from May 20 to June 9 2019 at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre.
The first prize winner will receive a two-week artist residency at Bundanon Trust, together with a cash prize of $5000.
There will also be a People’s Choice Prize of $500 plus a Holiday Haven gift voucher.
